What we make, how we decide what goes on a product, and the standards behind the range.

What we make

Halusbushcraft makes bushcraft and camping equipment by hand. Simple, useful and easy to carry, built to spend years outdoors without wearing out.

Fire and grill equipment is what we are best known for, but the range is wider than that: camp kitchen, woodcutting tools, carry and fabric goods, leather work and tins all come out of the same workshop.

Everything is manufactured in our own workshop, in Türkiye.

How we decide

Three tests: quality, simplicity, durability. A detail that serves none of them does not belong on the product.

That is why the equipment looks as plain as it does. No extra catch, no extra latch, no extra part — if the job gets done without adding something that can break, that is the right way to do it.

Standards

Which steel a piece is made from, how many millimetres thick it is and what size it arrives in are written on each product's own page. We do not publish a figure that has not been measured: a missing line costs less than a wrong number.

Products are designed to be repaired and spare parts are kept in stock. A worn part should not mean a replaced tool.
